The differences between Bush and Clinton as leaders are stark, but seeing video brings this home in a way that is amazing and pure. So without further ado, here is a link to

Instead of fear-mongering, we have positivism. Instead of a stuttering zealot, we have a man who is obviously versed in policy. Hopeful, with a long list of proven and measurable successes, Clinton's SotU speech makes me extremely wistful for the departure of this great man from our government. He did more great for this nation than any president I can think of, and for the presidency to have gone from such great heights to such cynical depths is tragic to the point of tears.
Here was a man who respected science. Here was a man who, while he knew the game, he nonetheless was inherently a moral governor, despite his personal sins. He made our nation a better place, a place we could be proud of, and brought great love to our nation from the world at large.
I did not agree with every policy decision he pursued, nor do I to this day, but he could at least defend his positions without having to cater to preselected audiences. Nor was he afraid of conflict.
God bless you, President Clinton. May your impact be felt for the rest of your days.
